Leo Kung Lin-Cheng, J.P., Board Member

Mr. Leo KUNG Lin-cheng, BBS, JP (Chairman)

Mr. Leo KUNG Lin-cheng joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2003. He is the Vice President of Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd and has held a variety of significant positions including that of Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Member of Shanghai Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Member of Start-up Loan for Post-Secondary Education Providers Vetting Committee & Selection Committee for the Allocation of Sites to Post-Secondary Education Providers of Education Bureau and Non-Executive Director of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority. He was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2011.

Ming Wai Lau, Board Member

Mr. LAU Ming-wai, BBS, JP (Deputy Chairman)

Mr. LAU Ming-wai has served as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation since 2008. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Chinese Estates Holdings Ltd. His public service roles include: Member of the Sichuan Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Co-opted Member of Community Care Fund Task Force and Societal Engagement Task Force under Commission on Poverty; Council Member of City University of Hong Kong; Member of Financial Infrastructure Sub-Committee of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee. He holds a Ph.D. (Laws) from King's College, London. Additionally, Mr. Lau is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a registered attorney and counsellor-at-law in the State of New York.

Ms. Kelly CHAN, Yuen-sau, Board Member

Ms. Kelly CHAN Yuen-sau

Ms. Kelly CHAN, Yuen-sau joined OPC's Board of Directors in 2010. She possesses over nineteen years of experience in the accounting and finance industry, with audit and management consulting experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China and the United States. Ms Chan is currently Finance Director of a multinational company where she oversees the areas of finance, logistics and information technology. She is a member of the Inland Revenue Board and the Past President of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Hong Kong. Ms. Chan is a fellow of ACCA and HKICPA, and a Council Member of the Association of Women Accountants.

Ms Rainy Chan

Ms. Rainy CHAN

Ms. Rainy CHAN is General Manager of The Peninsula Hong Kong and Area Vice-President for Hong Kong and Thailand for The Peninsula Hotels. She has been with The Peninsula since 1994, holding senior management appointments at the company's properties in Hong Kong, Chicago, New York and Bangkok. Ms Chan is committed to developing professionals within the hotel industry and empowering young people to make positive choices. In this capacity, she is a Director of the Life Education Activity Programme (LEAP) and a member of the Advisory Committee of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Hotel and Tourism Management (PolyU SHTM).

Mr. Samuel Choy Chung-leung

Mr. Samuel CHOY Chung-leung

Mr. Samuel CHOY is currently the General Manager of Bliss Concepts Limited, where he oversees this creative media company with particular focus in local and original animation development. He was a member in TDC Entertainment Industry Advisory Committee and SME Development Fund Vetting Committee.

Mrs. Betty Fung Ching Suk-yee

Mrs. Betty FUNG Ching Suk-yee, JP (Home Affairs Bureau)

Mrs. Betty FUNG Ching Suk-yee, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, has served in various bureaus and departments, including the former Transport Branch, the former City and New Territories Administration, the former Civil Service Branch, the former Education and Manpower Branch, the former Chief Secretary's Office, the Information Services Department, the former Trade Department, the Home Affairs Bureau, the former Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer. She was the Deputy Secretary for Education and Manpower (later re-titled Deputy Secretary for Education) from April 2006 to July 2007, Director of Information Services from July 2007 to August 2009 and Director of Leisure and Cultural Services from August 2009 to July 2014.

Ms. Betty HO Siu-fong

Ms. Betty HO Siu-fong joined OPC's Board of Directors in 2011. She is a professional town planner and is the Director of PlanArch Consultants Ltd., and has been teaching urban planning and community planning workshop in The University of Hong Kong for more than 15 years. She was the Chairman of the Planners Registration Board, and is serving as member of the Advisory Committee on the Environment, ICAC Corruption Prevention Advisory Committee, Country and Marine Parks Board (until August 2011), Task Force on Hong Kong National Geopark, Advisory Committee on the Quality of Water Supplies, and Planning, Development and Conservation Committee of Urban Renewal Authority. She advocates for sustainable development and was the Chairman of The Conservancy Association.

Monica Lee-Müller

Mrs. Monica LEE-MÜLLER

Mrs. Monica LEE-MÜLLER is the Deputy Managing Director of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited, a subsidiary of NWS Holdings Ltd. She is passionate about promoting Hong Kong as Asia's capital for international events. Mrs Lee-Müller is currently a Board Member of UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, an Executive Committee member of Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association (HKECIA), and a member of the Advisory Committee of the School of Hotel & Tourism Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also serves in various advisory boards of the Vocational Training Council. Additionally, Mrs Lee-Müller is active in the development of the convention and exhibition venue industry within the PRC as an executive director of various subsidiary companies of NWS Holdings Ltd.

Prof. Becky P.Y. Loo

Prof. Becky P.Y. LOO

Prof. Becky P.Y. LOO joined OPC's Board of Directors in 2011. She is Professor of Geography at the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests are transportation, spatial analysis, and information and communication technologies. She was awarded the Outstanding Young Researcher and the Outstanding Teaching Award in 2006 and 2008 respectively. Prof. Loo is on the Editorial Boards of seven top-ranking internationally-referred academic journals. She was Associate Dean (Postgraduate Education) of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Prof. Loo is currently Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport Studies (ITS), Vice-President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK), Vice-Chair of the Commission on Transport and Geography of the International Geographical Union (IGU) and Honorary Secretary of the IGU Geography of Information Society Commission. She also holds various appointments related to the Common Core Curriculum of the University, harbourfront development, the New Junior and Senior Secondary School Geography Curricula, human research ethics and road safety.

Mr. Thomas James MEHRMANN

Mr. Thomas James MEHRMANN

Mr. Thomas James MEHRMANN is the Chief Executive of the Ocean Park Corporation. He began his tenure with Ocean Park in 2004. Mr. Mehrmann started his career in the theme park industry in 1977 as a park attendant at Knott's Berry Farm, working his way up to the position of Vice President of Park Operations and Entertainment in 1996. Prior to coming to Hong Kong, he joined Six Flags Marine World as Vice President and General Manager in 1998, and was appointed VP and GM of Warner Bros. Movie World (Madrid) in 2000.

Mr. Daryl NG Win-kong

Mr. Daryl NG Win-kong

Mr. Daryl NG Win-kong is the Executive Director of Sino Land Company Limited, Tsim Sha Tsui Properties and Sino Hotels (Holdings) Limited. He has held positions in the corporate and charity sectors including serving as the Independent Non-Executive Director of Blue Cross (Asia-Pacific) Insurance Limited and BEA Life Limited, the Director of The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, the General Committee member of The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and a member of the International Advisory Council of Columbia University in the City of New York. He is a member of the 12th Beijing Committee of CPPCC, a trustee member of World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong, a member of Executive Committee of The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, a member of the Social Welfare Advisory Committee, a member of the Executive Committee of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited. He is a Director of The Community Chest of Hong Kong.

Prof. Yvonne J. SADOVY

Prof. Yvonne J. SADOVY

Prof. Yvonne J. SADOVY is attached to the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. Her specialisations are the sustainable management of reef fishes and the conservation and management of endangered fishes. This includes a strong component on education and training, with ongoing projects in Southeast Asia, the Western Pacific and the Caribbean. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the IUCN Species Survival Commission, as well as Co-chair of its Marine Conservation Sub-Committee. Prof. Sadovy is additionally the Director and Co-founder of the Society for the Conservation of Reef Fish Aggregations.

Mr. Richard Tsang Lap Ki

Mr. Richard TSANG Lap-ki

Mr. Richard TSANG Lap-ki is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Strategic Public Relations Group as well as Vice President of Public Relations Organisation International (Asia Pacific). He is a Council Member of Hong Kong Institute of Directors. (He is a founding member of the Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association). He has also served in educational and humanitarian organisations, holding positions such as a board member of the Methodist Centre; a member of the Advisory Committee for the School of Communication at the Hong Kong Baptist University and as a part-time lecturer with the School of Journalism and Communication at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Elizabeth Tse Man-yee, Board Member

Ms Elizabeth TSE Man-yee joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2012. She has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former Security Branch, the former City and New Territories Administration, the former Economic Services Branch, the former Finance Branch, the former New Airport Projects Co-ordination Office and the former Trade and Industry Branch. She was Deputy Secretary for the Treasury (later renamed Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury (Treasury)) from July 1999 to April 2006; Director of Administration from April 2006 to October 2007; Permanent Secretary, Chief Executive's Office from October 2007 to April 2010 and Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology) from 26 April 2010 to 24 July 2012.

Mr. WAI Chi-sing, JP

Mr. WAI Chi-sing, JP (Development Bureau)

Mr. WAI Chi-sing, BSc, MSc, CEng, MICE, MHKIE, MIStrE, FGS, MCIArb is the current Permanent Secretary for Development (Works). He was appointed as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation in June 2010. Mr. Wai is a veteran senior civil servant with a wide range of experience in different fields of engineering. He joined the government in 1977 and has worked in the Transport Department, the then Territory Development Department, the Highways Department and the Works Branch of the then Environment, Transport and Works Bureau. He returned to the Highways Department in November 2006 as the Director of the department.

Mr. Jason WONG Chun-tat

Mr. Jason WONG Chun-tat

Mr. Jason WONG Chun-tat is the Director and General Manager of Hong Thai Travel Services Limited. He has held different key positions in the tourism industry, including serving as the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Mali in Hong Kong, the Vice Chairman of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC), members of the Tourism Strategy Group of Tourism Commission, and Advisory Committee on Cruise Industry (ACCI). He is also appointed members of the Hotel, Service and Tourism Studies Discipline Advisory Board for the Vocational Training Council of Education bureau, HKSAR (VTC), Industry Advisory Committee of School of Hotel and Tourism Management for the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Hong Kong Baptist University SCE CPE Advisory Committee, to foster the travel industry by formulating better training and development for the youths. He also extends his profession in different social bodies, including board members of Hong Kong Statistics Advisory Board and Employees Retraining Board.

Mr. Eric C. Yim

Mr. Eric C. YIM

Eric YIM is the founder and CEO of POSH Office Systems (HK) Ltd., a “Hong Kong Top Brand” company engaged in design, manufacture and marketing of office furniture. Mr. Yim holds a Master Degree in Architecture from the University of Cambridge and he was named “Young Industrialist of Hong Kong 2005”. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Chairman of Design Council of Hong Kong, the Chairman of Hong Kong Furniture & Decoration Trade Association, Vice President of Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council, a Court Member of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Council Member of Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, a Director of Hong Kong Design Centre and an adviser of Hong Kong Design Institute. He is also a member of Guangxi Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and serves as a working group member of the Hong Kong Economic Commission for the HKSAR Government.

Mr. Philip YUNG Wai-hung joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2010, and has served in various bureaus and departments, including Housing Department, the former General Duties Branch, the former Constitutional Affairs Branch, the former City and New Territories Administration (and later the Home Affairs Department), the former Chief Secretary's Office, the former Chief Executive (Designate)'s Office, Chief Secretary for Administration's Office and Financial Secretary's Office. He was Deputy Director-General of Trade and Industry from January 2001 to July 2004, and Deputy Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology (Commerce and Industry) from July 2004 to August 2006. He has been Deputy Secretary for Environment, Transport and Works (Transport) (later re-titled Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport) since August 2006.
