LI Man Kiu Adrian David, Board Member

Dr. Allan ZEMAN, GBS, JP (Chairman)

Dr. Allan ZEMAN, GBS, JP, is the current Chairman of the Ocean Park Corporation. Dr. Zeman has spent over 38 years in Hong Kong, establishing a wide array of business interests locally and overseas. He has given generously of his time to public service in the region and among others, serves a member of the Tourism Strategy Group for the Hong Kong Tourism Commission and the Business Facilitation Advisory Committee. In recognition of his extensive contribution to the development of Hong Kong, he was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2001, and was awarded a Gold Bauhinia Star in 2004.

Leo Kung Lin-Cheng, J.P., Board Member

Mr. Leo KUNG Lin-cheng, JP (Deputy Chairman)

Mr. Leo KUNG Lin-cheng, JP, joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2003, and currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Ocean Park Corporation. He is the Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd and has held a variety of significant positions including that of Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Member of Shanghai Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Member of Start-up Loan for Post-Secondary Education Providers Vetting Committee & Selection Committee for the Allocation of Sites to Post-Secondary Education Providers of Education Bureau and Non-Executive Director of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority.

Chan Suk Ling, Shirley, Board Member

Ms. Shirley CHAN Suk-ling

Ms. Shirley CHAN Suk-ling, joined as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation in 2007. Her diverse portfolio includes chairing the Hong Kong Brand Development Council, serving as Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Hong Kong Design Centre, Vice President and Executive Director of the Council for the Guangdong Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and acting as an Executive Committee Member for the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Retail Management Association.

CHEN Qing, Board Member

Ms. Judy CHEN Qing

Ms. Judy CHEN Qing, joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2004 and the Board of Trustees of the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation in 2006, for which she is the Foundation Chair. She was the Director of Investments (Global Wealth Management) for Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Limited and previously held the position of Vice President, Personal Advisor to Chairman of PCCW Limited between 2001 and 2007. Ms. Chen is a current member of the Board of Governors for the Hong Kong Ballet and a council member on the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF, Honorary Chairman of the Wolong Panda Club and a Board Trustee member of Menlo College, USA.

Ip Shing Hing, Director

Mr. IP Shing-hing, JP

Mr. IP Shing-hing, JP, is a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation. He is also the current Director of the Hong Kong Coalition of Professional Services and serves as a committee member for the Hong Kong Housing Authority and ICAC – Corruption Prevention Committee. He was previously a part time member of the Central Policy Unit (2004-2005) and was appointed as a District Council Member of the Eastern District Council (2001-2003). Mr. Ip holds a Master of Arts (Dispute Resolution Arbitration) degree from the City University of Hong Kong.

JIM Chi-yung, Board Member

Prof. JIM Chi-yung, JP

Prof. JIM Chi-yung, JP, joined as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation in 2005. He serves as a member of the Community Involvement Committee on Greening, the Greening Master Plan Committee, the Building Committee of the Housing Authority and the Administrative Appeals Board. Additionally, Prof. Jim is an ardent advocate for protecting Hong Kong's trees and greenery. He was the Chairman of Friends of the Country Parks, a position he held between 1999 and 2002, and again between 2005 and 2008. He is also Vice Chairman of the Green Fun Committee.

Ming Wai Lau, Board Member

Mr. LAU Ming-wai

Mr. LAU Ming-wai, joined as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation in 2008. He was the Executive Director of Chinese Estate Holdings Limited and is a member of both the Sichuan Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference as well as the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education. He holds a Ph.D. (Laws) from King's College, London. Additionally, Mr. Ming is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a registered attorney and counsellor-at-law in the State of New York.

Lau Sau Shing, Patrick, Board Member

The Hon Patrick LAU Sau-shing, SBS, JP

The Hon Patrick LAU Sau-shing, SBS, JP, is an award-winning architect with over three decades of experience lecturing at the University of Hong Kong. He previously headed the Department of Architecture there between 1996 and 2000. Prof. Lau is also the Director of Design Consultants Limited., a company he founded in 1977. His contributions to the field of architecture have garnered him an HKIA Outstanding Architect Award from the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (1991). He was awarded Artist of the Year by the Hong Kong Artists' Guild in 1999.

Lee Yuen Kwong, Board Member

Mr. LEE Yuen-kwong

Mr. LEE Yuen-kwong has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director for the Global Bio-Chem Technology Group Company Limited since 2001. Mr. Lee is a Certified Public Accountant and has been practising since 1990, possessing over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation and management consulting. He graduated from the University of Sunderland (United Kingdom) with a BA in Business Studies.

Leung Chi-Kwan Andrew, Board Member

Mr. Andrew LEUNG Chi-kwan, JP

Mr. Andrew LEUNG Chi-kwan, B.Soc. Sc. (Hons), ANZIIF (Fellow) CIP, JP, joined as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation in 2008. He is the current Director of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong and a member of the Tourism Strategy Group for the Hong Kong Tourism Commission. Since 2003, he has also held the position of Managing Director of Swire Travel for operations in Hong Kong, the PRC and Taiwan. Additionally, he was a part of the Election Committee for the 2007 Hong Kong Chief Executive Election (Tourism Subsector).

Ms. LUI Wai Yu, Paddy

Ms. Paddy Lui Wai-yu, BBS, JP

Ms. Paddy Lui Wai-yu, BBS, JP, joined as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation since 2004. She has served as Director and Chairman of Opera Hong Kong Ltd. since 2003. Ms. Lui is a member of various public and social services organisations, including the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners Ltd. (Executive Committee Member), the Tourism Strategy Group of the Hong Kong Tourism Commission (Committee Member) and the Board of Trustees of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust (Member). She has further served as a member of the Election Committee of the HKSAR (Hotel Sector) in 1998, 2000 and 2006.

Mak Chai kwong, Board Member

Mr. MAK Chai-kwong, JP

Mr. Mak Chai-kwong, JP, BSc, MSc, MICE, FHKIE, FCILT, FHKIHT, is the current Permanent Secretary for Development (Works). He joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2006. Mr. Mak is an experienced senior civil servant with significant knowledge in the field of urban planning. He entered public service in 1976 as an Assistant Engineer, rising to Principal Government Engineer in 2000. He was Project Manager of the New Territories East Development Office in the former Territory Development Department from 2000, until he became Director of Highways in 2002.

Mr. Thomas James MEHRMANN

Mr. Thomas James MEHRMANN

Mr. Thomas Mehrmann is CEO of the Ocean Park Corporation. He began his tenure with Ocean Park in 2004. Mr. Mehrmann started his career in the theme park industry in 1977 as a park attendant at Knott's Berry Farm, working his way up to the position of Vice President of Park Operations and Entertainment in 1996. Prior to coming to Hong Kong, he joined Six Flags Marine World as Vice President and General Manager in 1998, and was appointed VP and GM of Warner Bros. Movie World (Madrid) in 2000.

Prof. Yvonne J. SADOVY

Prof. Yvonne J. SADOVY

Prof. Yvonne J. SADOVY is attached to the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. Her specialisations are the sustainable management of reef fishes and the conservation and management of endangered fishes. This includes a strong component on education and training, with ongoing projects in Southeast Asia, the Western Pacific and the Caribbean. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the IUCN Species Survival Commission, as well as Co-chair of its Marine Conservation Sub-Committee. Prof. Sadovy is additionally the Director and Co-founder of the Society for the Conservation of Reef Fish Aggregations.

Ir. Dr. Greg WONG Chak-yan, JP

Ir. Dr. Greg WONG Chak-yan, JP

Ir. Dr. Greg WONG Chak-yan, JP, is a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation. He is the current Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Town Planning Board and a member of the Antiquities Advisory Board. He was previously the President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers from 2005 to 2006 and part time member of the Central Policy Unit from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Wong possesses a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering.

Ying Yiu Hong, Board Member

Mr. Stanley YING Yiu-hong, JP

Mr. Stanley YING Yiu-hong, JP, is the Permanent Secretary for the Treasury Branch of the Hong Kong Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. He joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2008. Mr. Stanley Ying was most recently Permanent Secretary for Security between 2003 and 2007, and Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury (Treasury) from July 2000 to October 2003. He started his career in public services in 1983 and has served in various bureaus and departments, including the former Trade Department and the former Chief Secretary's Office.

Ying Yiu Hong, Board Member

Mr. Raymond Young Lap-moon, JP

Mr Young, JP, joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2010, and has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former Urban Services Department, the former City and New Territories Administration, the former Royal Hong Kong Police Force, the former Government House, the former Civil Service Branch, the former Industry Department and the former Education and Manpower Bureau. Mr Young was Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Industry (later re-titled Deputy Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology) from August 2001 to July 2004, Director-General of Trade and Industry from July 2004 to September 2006 and Director, Celebrations Preparatory Office (later re-titled Director, Celebrations Co-ordination Office) from September 2006 to July 2007. He was Permanent Secretary for Development (Planning and Lands) from July 2007 to August 2009.

Ying Yiu Hong, Board Member

Mr. Philip Yung Wai-hung, JP

Mr Yung, JP, joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2010, and has served in various bureaus and departments, including Housing Department, the former General Duties Branch, the former Constitutional Affairs Branch, the former City and New Territories Administration (and later the Home Affairs Department), the former Chief Secretary's Office, the former Chief Executive (Designate)'s Office, Chief Secretary for Administration's Office and Financial Secretary's Office. He was Deputy Director-General of Trade and Industry from January 2001 to July 2004, and Deputy Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology (Commerce and Industry) from July 2004 to August 2006. He has been Deputy Secretary for Environment, Transport and Works (Transport) (later re-titled Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport) since August 2006.
