2013 Green Carnival

Ocean Park has always been a key supporter in promoting environmental awareness and wildlife conservation to our community. Consequently, the Park actively reaches out to other like-minded organizations and forms partnerships to heighten the public's environmental awareness.

On February 3th, 2013, Ocean Park took part in the 10th Green Carnival hosted by Green Council at Kowloon Park, The theme in this year was "Going Green – How to reduce your carbon and water footprint" in order to spread the message of green and reduce carbon emission and water consumption in daily life to combat global climate change.

Green Council is a charity organization which aims to encourage businesses to carry out green purchasing, as well as to promote community environmental awareness through public educational campaign.

Ocean Park participated in the Carnival as one of the sponsors, and hosted a carnival booth "Low Carbon Tic-Tac-Toe ", which conveyed important low carbon messages to visitors via fun-filled games! This year, the Green Carnival attracted around 10,000 participants. Our Park was selected by the participants and won the Champion in the "The Best Booth Design Competition" within the 23 collaborating organizations.
