Fun Facts

  • The Centralian rough knob-tail geckos are one of the largest geckos in Australia. They have very short tail that can be used to store fat.

  • When these geckos are in danger, they will raise their bodies, arch their backs and emit a raspy call to warn the predator. They can also drop their tails like the other geckos. However, the regrown tails will not look the same as the original.
