Fun Facts
Emerald skinks live on trees primarily and forage within the leaf debris in the crevices among tree trucks and branches.
Although they are commonly called the emerald skinks, not all are emerald green. Individuals from different regions show slight variations in body colour. Researchers have identified more than 10 distinct colour types, in which some are bright green, some are olive green and some are brown.
