Fun Facts
Red-eyed crocodile skinks often hide beneath rocks and logs on the forest floor. They hunt at dawn and dusk.
The females lay only one egg at a time, allowing them to devote all their care to that egg. With an armour of thick skin and pointed scales, they will defend their egg by covering it. They may also squeak and bite the enemy.
