
In-park Programmes (Secondary School) - Nature Experience
Ocean Park is full of stimulating experiences - from visiting various animals to experiencing exciting rides - all these inspire students to explore the world around them in multiple ways. Our uniquely designed Nature Experience is a perfect fit for the varied needs of different subjects under the Secondary Curriculum. Students could deepen their learning through experiential and collaborative learning.
Observe the structure and growth patterns of corals, using AI tools to discover the symbiotic relationship between corals and marine animals
Investigate the survival crisis of corals through scientific experiment; Visit behind-the-scenes facilities to understand coral conservation efforts

Visit Grand Aquarium and discover the amazing behaviours and body features of different marine creatures
Learn about marine resources through an exciting quiz and learn to cherish the treasures of the ocean

Understand the uniqueness of giant pandas, investigate the natural and anthropogenic threats faced by giant pandas
Compare skull models of different animals from a scientific perspective, and analyse giant pandas' feeding habits through examining faeces samples

Visit South Pole Spectacular and observe penguins to discover how the melting of Antarctic ice threatens penguins
Examine the factors accelerating the melting of Antarctic ice and rising sea levels through an experiment and adopt sustainable lifestyle to reduce our carbon footprints

Ocean Park issues 1 accompanying teacher ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased per group, so they can accompany students to the programme. An extra fee applies for any additional teacher to enter the Park, and the fee does not include the participation of the programme. Students cannot use the teacher admission tickets, and vice versa. All participants are expected to leave Ocean Park after the education programme. Participants who would like to remain at the Park and enjoy its facilities after the programme must apply in advance and pay a stay-behind surcharge.
Students participating in secondary programmes could get a copy of the Orienteering Mission Worksheet for HK$20! Students who pay the stay-behind surcharge can get it for FREE.
The programme fees are vaild until 31 August 2027.

* “Animal Stranding Investigator” is NOT applicable on Tuesday.
** One-way travelling time between the Ocean Park Main Entrance and The Summit is about 45 minutes. Please allow sufficient time to reach the programme location and return from Ocean Park.
All participants should enter Ocean Park at the same time. Teachers should approach our Ticketing Office for the admission procedure upon arrival at Ocean Park. Please then proceed to the designated gathering location as explained in the Confirmation Letter.
