Ocean Park Hong Kong Welcomes First Group Tour on Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link

To ride on the opening of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL) on 23 September, Ocean Park has liaised with various travel agencies in the Greater Bay area to organise XRL group tours to visit Ocean Park. The first XRL group tours from Guangzhou, Fujian and Xiamen will arrive in Hong Kong from 23 – 26 September. Whilst the first group tour organised by China travel agency GZL will travel from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Hong Kong via XRL on 23 September, and is expected to arrive at Hong Kong at around 9:29 am, with the travelling time just around 1 hour. Upon their arrival, an exclusive shuttle bus will bring them right to Ocean Park, where the Park’s mascots Whiskers and Bao Bao will greet them. Guests will also be given a cute plush toy, and can enjoy a variety of exclusive offers, including skill game coupons, buy-one-get-one-free coupons on standard drinks at Lakeside Chill and popcorn.

Moreover, the opening of the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel will turn Ocean Park into an urban resort destination that combines edutainment and conservation.”

In view of the opening of XRL and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), Ocean Park will introduce three new travel packages that combine transportation and admission tickets, as well as a special ticket for visiting Ocean Park twice in six months to make visits to Ocean Park more convenient than ever for guests from the Mainland. The Park has also set up a Shenzhen representative office and organised a series of trade briefings and road shows in various cities in Guangdong to further step up its promotion efforts in South China and the Greater Bay Area.
