Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong

(19 July 2009 – Hong Kong) Entering its 9th thrilling year, the ever-popular Ocean Park Halloween Bash is returning to thrust Hong Kong into a new level of fright as the event sets to become the biggest Halloween celebration yet across Asia.

From 25 September to 1 November, 400 plus ghouls and goblins will break loose in over 20 horror attractions which include 8 brand new haunted houses. The ghostly themes this year all revolve around terrifying stories and legends from Hong Kong. In the coming Ocean Park Halloween Bash, guests will experience the fright of their lives like never before and be challenged to scarier, and more hair raising encounters!

Details of the attractions are attached in the fact sheet.

From 20 July at 12:00 Noon to 12 August, Ocean Park will offer an “Early Bird” special with a limited number of tickets to reward avid fans of the Ocean Park Halloween Bash at a special discount. During this period, guests can purchase night tickets, privilege tickets, privilege tickets with dinner combos and any other ticket categories with a 10% discount at www.halloweenbash.com.hk. Regular tickets will be on sale in the public from 12:00 Noon, 17 August (details of ticket prices attached). Time waits for no one – buy your tickets now and avoid disappointment as tickets are limited. Take advantage of this “Early Bird” offer and Don’t Miss Out!

To add to the excitement, Ocean Park has teamed up with “Laughing Gor” (Celebrity Michael Tse Tin-Wah) to invite 1,000 of the early bird buyers to be a secret undercover “mole” for a bone-chilling Halloween scare when they come to the Park! What is this about? Every buyer who has purchased a ticket during the “Early Bird” period through the Ocean Park Halloween Bash website will receive an email confirmation of their purchase. If they desire to become a “mole”, they will be asked to share why by applying through a website indicated on the email. 1,000 applicants with the most creative reasons will be selected by “Laughing Gor” as the “moles”.

All “moles” will be invited to join a “Spooky Scare Class” to be held on August 30 where “Laughing Gor” will personally define the role of the mole and teach everyone how to scare their friends on the night they visit Ocean Park for the Halloween Bash. All moles will receive a “Spook Pack” which contains various props and instructions for them to execute the scares.
