Mr. Leo KUNG Lin-cheng joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in 2003. He is the Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd and has held a variety of significant positions including that of a Member of The National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; a Standing Committee Member of Shanghai Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; a Board Member of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority; the Honorary President of the Chinese Bankers Club, Hong Kong; the Chairman of Pasteur Foundation Asia; the Vice President of Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic Development Association Limited; the Convener of Trustees of the Helping Hand Charitable Trust and a Director of the Board; a Member of Steering Committee on Caring Company Scheme of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service; a Committee Member of Shanghai Chinese Overseas Friendship Association and a Trustee of The Queen Mary Hospital Charitable Trust. He was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2011.
Mr. LAU Ming-wai has served as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Corporation since 2008. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Chinese Estates Holdings Ltd. His public service roles include: Member of the Sichuan Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Co-opted Member of Community Care Fund Task Force and Societal Engagement Task Force under Commission on Poverty; Council Member of City University of Hong Kong; Member of Financial Infrastructure Sub-Committee of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee. He holds a Ph.D. (Laws) from King's College, London. Additionally, Mr. Lau is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a registered attorney and counsellor-at-law in the State of New York.
Ms Loretta Fong is currently a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Assurance Division in Hong Kong, and has served in various positions including Member of the Corporate Finance Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”), Member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee of HKICPA, Member of Finance & Administration Committee of Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) and Member of the Advisory Board on Accountancy of Lingnan University. Ms Fong is a CPA in Hong Kong, the United States of America, Canada, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Mr. Michael Hobson was appointed to the Board on 1 January, 2017. Mr. Hobson is Chief Marketing Officer of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and is responsible for overseeing the Group’s sales and marketing strategies on a global basis. He joined Mandarin Oriental in this capacity in 1994 and is based at the Group’s Hong Kong office.
Mr. Hobson has more than 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career with Grand Metropolitan in 1978, concentrating on sales and development and was stationed in the United Kingdom, Latin America, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing Worldwide for Omni Hotels Asia-Pacific. He also worked with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as Group Director of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Hobson holds an MBA from the University of Leicester having previously studied Hotel and Catering Operations at Brighton Technical College in the United Kingdom. He is on the Board of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group International Limited, and prior to his appointment to the Board of The Ocean Park Corporation was a Member of the Mega Events Fund Assessment Committee.
Mr. Hon Chi-Keung is currently Permanent Secretary for Development (Works). Mr. Hon is an experienced senior civil servant with profound knowledge and rich experience in the works field. He also possesses proven leadership and management abilities. He joined the government in 1983 and assumed the role of Director of Civil Engineering and Development from January 2011 to early April 2015.
Professor Kenneth Mei-yee LEUNG is the Professor of Aquatic Ecology and Ecotoxicology at the Swire Institute of Marine Science and the School of Biological Sciences, and the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, The University of Hong Kong. Currently he is the Chairman of the Marine Mammal Conservation Working Group; a member of the Endangered Species Advisory Committee, the Red Tide/Harmful Algal Bloom Expert Advisory Group and the Genetically Modified Organisms (Control of Release) Expert Group, and a co-opted member of the Marine Parks Committee under the Country and Marine Parks Board. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene.
Ir MA Lee Tak is a veteran professional civil engineer with rich project management experience on general civil engineering, geotechnical, highway, railway, urban development, reclamation, drainage, sewerage and water supplies works. Ir MA is currently a Member of the Advisory Council on the Environment of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; a Member of the International Advisory Panel of the Institute of Water Policy of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore; an Executive Committee Member of the Dashun Policy Research Centre; and an Honorary Advisor for a number of plumbing and drainage engineering institutions in Hong Kong.
Mr. Joe WONG Chi-cho joined as a Board Member of Ocean Park Corporation in February 2018, and has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former Health and Welfare Branch, the former City and New Territories Administration, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York, the former Economic Services Branch, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington DC and the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. He was Deputy Director of Housing (Corporate Services) from June 2009 to October 2011 and Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology) (later retitled as Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Creative Industries)) from October 2011 to July 2016, and was appointed Director of Information Services in July 2016. He has assumed the post of the Commissioner for Tourism since 20 February 2018.
Mr. Jason WONG Chun-tat is the Director and President of Hong Thai Travel Services Limited. He has held different key positions in the tourism industry, including serving as the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Mali in Hong Kong, the Chairman of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC), board member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, members of the Tourism Strategy Group of Tourism Commission and the Advisory Committee on Cruise Industry (ACCI). He is also a member of the Industry Advisory Committee of School of Hotel and Tourism Management for the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to foster the travel industry by formulating better training and development for the youths. He also extends his profession in different social bodies, including as a board member of the Hong Kong Statistics Advisory Board.
Eric YIM is the founder and CEO of POSH Office Systems (HK) Ltd., a “Hong Kong Top Brand” company engaged in design, manufacture and marketing of office furniture. Mr. Yim holds a Master Degree in Architecture from the University of Cambridge and he was named “Young Industrialist of Hong Kong 2005”. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Chairman of Design Council of Hong Kong, the Chairman of Hong Kong Furniture & Decoration Trade Association, Vice President of Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council, a Court Member of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Council Member of Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, a Director of Hong Kong Design Centre and an adviser of Hong Kong Design Institute. He is also a member of Guangxi Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and serves as a working group member of the Hong Kong Economic Commission for the HKSAR Government.
