Rovers (Aged 6-8) “Ocean Daily” Reporter

“Ocean Daily” is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and the much‑anticipated Summer Carnival is right around the corner! ​

While the reporters are busy designing souvenirs, they are also entrusted with a mysterious mission — to interview a VIP marine guest in preparation for the big anniversary celebration. ​

With so many exciting challenges ahead, the Chief Executive Director of “Ocean Daily” has decided to recruit a team of Junior Reporters to help out. Together, they must work creatively and cooperatively to ensure both major annual events are a great success! 

• Get up close with bottlenose dolphin and capture precious photo moment 
• Close encounter with the dolphin to learn about their physical features and discover how they survive in the ocean 
• Work as a team to design creative souvenirs and take part in the exciting Summer Carnival 
• Become a Junior Reporter and share important animal conservation messages with visitors 

• Meet our Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin up close and take a precious photo together (approximately 10-15 minutes) * 
• Take part in educational dolphin demonstrations and touch dolphin to learn about their physical characteristics (approximately 10–15 minutes) * 
• Work in team to design and create a variety of marine‑themed souvenirs 
• Share your DIY souvenirs with visitors while assist in spreading conservation messages in protecting animals

*The Programme Fee includes the participant’s stay-behind surcharge and one complimentary adult admission ticket on the programme date. The complimentary ticket is only available to collect at programme gathering time.​  Bulk purchase special offer: If you purchase 8 capacities or more within the same session at the same time, you can enjoy a 15% discount on the regular price of the programme. • Enrolment deadline: 7 days before the commencement of each class.  
• Each transaction can only purchase up to one programme ticket for the same session. 
• Enrolment will be postponed for 1 day if the following circumstances occur at 12:00nn: 
  • Tropical Cyclone Signal Number 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory; 
  • Black Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. 
• The selected programme code, date, time, meal’s selection (if applicable), and participant’s information and email cannot be changed or rescheduled. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure the programme dates fit in participant’s schedule before enrolment. 
• Parents will receive a confirmation letter via email once the payment has been received. Please pay attention to the spam or junk mailboxes of your email account.
