AXA Presents: Ocean Park x Sanrio characters "Marine Wonders" has been receiving a lot of positive feedback since its debut, where the six iconic Sanrio friends embarked on a dazzling deep-sea adventure. Adding to the excitement, Pompompurin, who famously topped the 2025 Sanrio character ranking worldwide, is throwing a special party for friends and fans to celebrate his milestone 30th Anniversary, running from 28 March until 23 August 2026.
Pompompurin 30th Anniversary Bash: A Secret Garden Unveiled
The Cable Car Station Plaza at The Summit has been transformed into Pompompurin 30th Anniversary Secret Garden, featuring a giant 2.5-metre-tall inflatable Pompompurin. Striking a wonderfully laidback pose, this captivating centrepiece is simply irresistible for those Instagram-worthy snapshots.
Come discover the charming 30th-anniversary themed flowerbed, adorned with delightful garden ornaments that simply amplify the cuteness factor. Inside Pompompurin's verdant cottage, visitors can pose for photos with friends by the door or share a joyful moment with himself on a cosy bench. Adding to the whimsical atmosphere, bubbles float gently through the garden, enhancing the dream-like sensation.
An Enchanting Ocean Express Journey
Adding another layer of enchantment, the Ocean Express now features a time-limited Ocean Park x Sanrio characters “Marine Wonders” themed multimedia journey. With Sanrio characters as the delightful guides, visitors will embark on an immersive deep-sea exploration in a special in-cabin video, greeting a vibrant array of marine creatures along the way between The Waterfront and The Summit.
Go for an Adventure with Sanrio characters and party with My Melody & Kuromi
After this new adventure, don’t forget to join the mysterious deep-sea quest at Sanrio characters’ Undersea Dream Adventure at Waterfront Plaza. Help avert the energy crisis at the legendary Ocean Kingdom.
My Melody & Kuromi also invite visitors to visit their My Melody & Kuromi Party House. Expect photo-perfect surprises, from chic pink-and-purple dressing tables and character-shaped sofas to a vibrant neon-lit game room and a sparkling disco ball for striking poses.

Get on a grand treasure hunt across the Park with the Sanrio characters’ Adventure Pass, and unlock more than 20 interactive installations with unique light and sound effects. Discover the two brand-new interactive installations at Pompompurin’s secret garden! Throughout the Park, Sanrio characters will also make special appearances for meet and greet and photo opportunities. Utilise AI technology to develop a new interactive map
Building on the success of interactive experiences, Ocean Park continues to drive innovation and elevate the visitor experience with technology. The Park used new artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create an interactive map solution (map.oceanpark.com.hk) that turns conventional static maps into a smart, dynamic digital navigation tool accessible directly via web browser. With real-time updates on attraction locations, facility wait times and the latest event and show schedules, visitors can plan their routes more efficiently and enjoy a smoother, more personalised visit throughout the Park.
49th Anniversary Ticket promotion and more offers
To celebrate the Park’s 49th anniversary, from now until 12 April 2026, Hong Kong residents whose Identity Card has both the number 4 and 9 can enjoy up to 49% off, with adult and child tickets at HK$274 and HK$137 respectively. For those whose Identity Card includes either 4 or 9, special discounts are also available, with adult and child tickets at HK$404 and HK$202 respectively.
