Are you ready to learn more about our ocean and have fun while playing water sports? Join us for the Marine Ambassador Programme! Through this exciting collaboration with Hong Kong Playground Association (HKPA), participants will immerse themselves in the captivating world of marine life and enjoy thrilling water sports.

Our journey unfolds in three captivating parts, beginning with a guided-tour of Ocean Park's exhibits. Prepare to be amazed by your ability to protect the ocean as our certified eco-guide shares fascinating facts and conservation tips. You may therefore develop a deep appreciation for the ocean's wonders!

But the excitement doesn't stop there! Brace yourself for an invigorating kayaking eco-tour, where you'll embark on exhilarating expeditions to local scenic spots. Discover mesmerizing sea caves and picture-perfect sandbar while our passionate eco-guide informs you about the essential environmental messages.

And that's not all - you'll also have the chance to make a positive impact through coastal clean-up or other hands-on experiences. By taking part, you'll actively contribute to the preservation of our precious marine ecosystems and become a true champion of social responsibility.

    Programme Content

    • Get to know marine conservation topics by taking a tour of Ocean Park's exhibits under the guidance of an eco-guide
    • Learn about sustainable fishing methods and how we, as consumers, can protect the ocean with our choices
    • Learn the basic kayaking skills and water safety tips from our registered kayaking coach
    • Embark on a tandem kayak trip from Ocean Park Tai Shue Wan Pier to Southern District attractions
    • Discover how sea caves are formed up close
    • Visit the sandbar between Yuk Kwai Shan and Ap Lei Pai to learn about marine conservation
    • Engage in coastal clean-up or other environmental education activities
    • Find out how marine debris, especially plastic, threatens animals' habitats and our everyday lives

    Students aged 8 - 24 years old
    • Gather at Water World Activities Gathering Point
    • Guided tour to Ocean Park's Pacific Pier and Shark Mystique
    • Learn basic kayaking skills and water safety at Tai Shue Wan Pier
    • Practice kayaking near the Pier before you begin your eco-tour
    • Sea caves sightseeing
    • Visit the sandbar for eco-activities
    • Back to the Pier, get changed at Water World and dismiss

    • The organiser only accepts participants who are able to swim 50 metres with light clothing on.
    • Itinerary may change depending on weather and sea conditions. Safety is always our top priority.
    • The deposit will be refunded after the programme. However, if the attendance is lower than 70%, the deposit will not be refunded.
