Mini-Rangers (Aged 4-5) Otter Discovery Crew
As the new school term begins, the Asian small-clawed otter finds itself very confused! His animal friends called him “beaver,” “sea lion,” and even “sea otter.” So… what is his real name?
To solve this mystery, our Otter Discovery Crew must use their sharp observation skills, questioning skills, and cooperate with the team to discover the otter’s true identity!
Programme Highlights
- Hand‑craft toys for the Asian small‑clawed otters and see how they unravel them up close
- Dress up as a mini animal caretaker and meet the Asian small‑clawed otters in a designated area
- Learn about the Asian small‑clawed otters’ unique habitat, physical features and behaviours
- Take part in the interactive games and collaborate with teammates to complete all fun challenges
Programme Content
- Prepare environmental enrichment for the Asian small‑clawed otters and observe them closely during playtime (approximately 15–20 minutes)
- Take part in team challenge games to learn about their small‑clawed otters’ natural habitat
- Use observation skills to complete tasks and learn how to distinguish Asian small-clawed otters’ from other aquatic animals
- Put on a caretaker uniform and role‑play as an animal caretaker for this lovely animal

- Programmes are subject to change and/or cancellation due to animals’ conditions and venue without prior notice.
- Participants will explore and learn with our villagers by themselves. Parents can pick up the participants at dismissal time.
- Participants can stay behind after the programme, early admission before the programme is not available.
- If there is a need to apply for sick leave, please inform us in advance. Relevant substantiation documents have to be provided. An administration fee of HK$200 and any payment in excess of the amount of initial payment will be charged to each course change, sick leave (except providing medical certificate with the designated programme date of the participant) or refund request.

- Enrolment deadline: 7 days before the commencement of each class.
- Each transaction can only purchase up to one programme ticket for the same session.
- Enrolment will be postponed for 1 day if the following circumstances occur at 12:00nn:
- Tropical Cyclone Signal Number 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory;
- Black Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
- The selected programme code, date, time, meal’s selection (if applicable), and participant’s information and email cannot be changed or rescheduled. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure the programme dates fit in participant’s schedule before enrolment.
