Fancy a visit to explore the Southern District’s mountains and waters from multiple angles and have a unique experience in the “underwater world”? Ocean Park’s brand-new programme “Nature in Panoramas – Above and Below the Southside Waters” is the perfect choice for you! Combining nature and cultural experience, this journey offers participants a chance to tour the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelters by sampan (also known as the “water taxi”), visit a traditional fishermen’s houseboat to know more about the daily life on the water, and immerse in the natural beauty of Southern District’s “secret garden”—Aberdeen Country Park, while meeting the “locals” in the area!
After the exciting outdoor activities, participants will be back to Ocean Park and enjoy dinner at in-park designated restaurant. They will set up a tent in front of the 13-metre-wide acrylic viewing panel at the Grand Aquarium. They can relax in the tranquillity of the deep sea by viewing thousands of fishes overnight, and enjoy a special moment with the marine life.
