Get ready to celebrate! Ocean Park is thrilled to invite all visitors to a “panda-tastic” birthday celebration from 26 to 29 June for giant pandas An An and Ke Ke, marking their 6th birthday and their first in Hong Kong.
A delightful surprise for the duo
An An and Ke Ke have arrived Hong Kong for nine months and are settling well in their new home in Ocean Park thanks to their dedicated caretakers. They are ready to have a feast and celebrate their birthday with everyone! The animal husbandry team has teamed up with Häagen-Dazs™ to tailor-make two eye-catching icy cakes as birthday presents to the precious duo. The specially designed cakes were made with their favourite food, including sweet potatoes, apples, carrots and bamboos, adorned with their names and age.
An An and Ke Ke headbands and commemorative stamp sheetlets up for grabs
Kick off the festivities by grabbing colourful birthday headbands at the Ocean Park main entrance! These adorable headbands will be distributed from 26 to 29 June. As a special treat, the Park will also be giving out 300 commemorative Welcome Giant Pandas Presentation Pack (containing a stamp sheetlet). Both are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be the first to receive yours!
Smile for the birthday stars
Visitors are also invited to capture the joy of this special occasion with photo installations at the Lagoon Platform as well as the birthday-themed window decoration at The Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures. Both are ideal backdrops for snapping memorable pictures with family and friends.
As night falls, the celebration continues! Witness enchanting images and celebratory messages projected onto Aqua City Lagoon, illuminating the skyline for An An and Ke Ke.

Viewing sessions for members
What’s more, exclusive viewing sessions will be arranged for Ocean Park Annual Members! Members will have a unique opportunity to meet An An and Ke Ke on 28 June and 26 June respectively as they enjoy their birthday treats. Simply secure your time ticket at the Park’s Annual Members Concierge from 10am on 26 June or 28 June. This ticket grants exclusive access to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures from 1:30pm to 2pm, with unlimited visiting time until closing. With only 80 spots available each day, be the first to grab your pass before they're gone!
