Voyagers (Aged 9-11) Team Polar

Explore the Polar Adventure and unveil the secrets of animal extinction
 
Get on the time machine and travel to the future polar regions to carry through the detective games. By completing the team challenges, you can obtain the glues and peek into what crisis lies in the polar regions. Children can embark on a fun and intriguing exploration together in the Explorer R! They can unleash their potential in self-directed learning, acquire scientific thinking skills, and have a great time together!

This programme is supported by the Tourism Commission.

Key Features:

  • Attend spotted seal and pacific walrus educational demonstration to observe their body features closely, and prepare a meal for seal
  • Greet the arctic fox and penguins, and learn about the threats of wildlife animals
  • Become an investigator, visit the Polar Adventure and complete the challenge with teammates to investigate the causes of animal extinction
  • Plan and design the story content and demonstrate the investigation result
  • Apply learning at the Explorer R

    • Attend seal educational demonstration and seal feeding 
    • Attend pacific walrus educational demonstration
    • Visit the Polar Adventure and ride on the Arctic Blast roller coaster
    • Complete the detective games together
    • Design your own AI SuperAnimals at the Explorer R

    • Enrolment deadline: 3 days before the commencement of each class.
    • Enrolment will be postponed for 1 day if the following circumstances occur at 12:00 nn:
      • Tropical Cyclone Signal Number 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory; 
      • Black Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. 
    • The selected programme code, date, time and participant’s name cannot be changed or rescheduled. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure the programme dates fit in participant’s schedule before enrolment. 
    • Parents will receive a confirmation letter via email once the payment has been received. Please pay attention to the spam or junk mailboxes of your email account.
