The safety protection system of the Wild Twister ride was activated at 6:20pm on 10 August 2025 due to a failure signal detected, and the ride was suspended. With the assistance of the Fire Services Department, ride operators escorted passengers to exit the ride at 7:37pm. All 17 passengers on board returned safely to the ground at 8:07pm. No injuries were reported.
Ocean Park is performing inspections and repeat testing for the Wild Twister. The Park would like to express its gratitude to passengers affected by the incident for their kind understanding.
