This Halloween season, Ocean Park will unlock the gates to the Parkaverse from 17 September to 31 October 2022. Title sponsored by AXA, Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2022 invites you to travel across time and space to experience different dimensions of exhilaration and fun – as the real world and the interactive multimedia collide for a never-before adventure.
Ocean Park has also teamed up with Adventure in Reality (AiR) for its first-ever series of Halloween virtual game play. Simply download the AiR app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to dive into the Halloween Parkaverse anytime, anywhere!
Massive spooky excitements surface from different dimensions
When darkness descends, the breach in the Parkaverse will widen. Be prepared to meet aliens as you move to Space Wrecked presented by AEON Credit Service. Run for survival in this space excursion and stay alert in the bloody maze.
Ruins of the Damned presented by Ma Pak Leung will be a battlefield for you to take the boss character down, collect all the seals and cast the ultimate spell to defeat the almighty Demon. Through AiR’s ‘ghost hunting tool’, the first 44 successful challengers every day can unlock exclusive Parkaverse treasures.
Another treasure spot is located at Mausoleum of Madness, where you will be lured by cobweb-like paths, hidden with deadly pitfalls and traps, quicksand and twisting passages along the way.
Meanwhile, don’t ever touch the strange dolls when you enter The House of Wraith Puppet presented by Wilson, where a family was haunted and suffered from a series of deadly misfortunes. The vengeful spirit will try to snatch visitors to stay with them in the house forever!
These mind-blowing attractions will be ready to haunt thrill-seekers on a pay-as-you-go basis from 14 October 2022 onwards.
Pixel horror world
Can’t wait for the spooky atmosphere? Enjoy the mobile experience from 17 September. Rescue five game characters known as AiR Citizens and collect mission items for what’s about to happen. At the Waterfront Plaza’s Planet Pixel presented by ecHome Appliances, you will join other players to stop the world from shattering into millions of pixel blocks and cubes! More simulation experiences will be unlocked on 30 September. Simply locate and scan the metaverse gateway hidden at Planet Pixel to enter the virtual world for more challenging missions and deport the invaders. It’s up to you to fix this surreal polychromatic menace! Make sure to charge your device before your adventure to enjoy the overwhelming Parkaverse fun.
Party fun for kids and adults alike
True to the spirit of Halloween Fest, a series of special experiences will be on offer for kids and adults in October. Kids can learn to create their spooky looks at the Laughing Ghost Camp. The Park’s makeup artists will also be on hand at the Make A Face booth to help create a look that puts you in the spotlight.
Frame your scary but cheerful moments at all Instagrammable spots
Also available starting 17 September are the chilling decorations throughout the Parkaverse. Don’t forget to snap many scary photos with the Pumpkin Monster and his Jack O’Lantern followers at the Summit Plaza. The deadly army will break out from the Halloween graveyard to the Parkaverse. How about getting some drop-dead gorgeous faces in your photos? Join the Darkness Invasion at the Waterfront Plaza in the evening, where the video game characters, ghosts, and spirits from different dimensions will come to life for this not-to-be-missed Halloween dance party, show their glamour and take stunning photos with those who dare.
The Ocean Park x AXA Halloween Fest 2022 daytime experience will be available from 17 September to 31 October 2022 except Tuesdays (not including 4 October) and Wednesdays. The full (day and night) experience featuring all the shows and performances will be available on 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and 31 October 2022.
