2012-10-14

(14 October 2012, Hong Kong) Ocean Park’s Hip Halloween spirits have been taking this year’s Ocean Park Halloween Bash, Hong Kong’s trendiest Halloween Party, to new levels of frightful fun. To engage the broader community, Mr. Paul Pei, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Ocean Park; Mr. Todd Hougland, Executive Director of Operations and Entertainment, Ocean Park; and Miss Dada Chan, the Halloween Demon Girl, today led twenty Hip Halloween Spirits – including five donning Wyman Wong’s “IN an EERIE Collection” – on an excursion outside Ocean Park for a “Gangnam Style” flash mob dance event on the streets of Causeway Bay. The public also took in the first-ever Halloween-themed fashion show on Hong Kong streets.

In addition, Ocean Park Halloween Bash hip ghosts and ghouls are partying up a storm in “Gangnam Style” this Halloween season!  Even Mr. Tom Mehrmann, Ocean Park’s hip Chief Executive has transformed into a Zombie Rocker to perform in “Gangnam Style” together with ghosts and ghouls at different haunted attractions, such as 5D Journey to the Underworld, Silver Screams, and Magician’s Lair. Those who do not want to miss the world’s hottest and eerily hip dance craze can enjoy Ocean Park Halloween Bash “Gangnam Style” by visiting http://youtu.be/KGd3OKYApIg. Guests can also rock out with their favourite ghosts and ghouls at Ocean Park Halloween Bash’s contemporary and hilarious Rock Out Live 2012.

This year’s Ocean Park Halloween Bash is being held on 23 event nights from 21 September to 31 October. Five hundred chic and creepy ghosts present guests with 23 frightfully fun experiences spread throughout the Park. With 8 haunted houses, 14 street shows and a daytime kids activity zone, Hauntingly Hip Halloween is set to give everyone unforgettable experiences of frightful fun. With three new attractions enjoying their first Halloween – Thrill Mountain, Old Hong Kong and Polar Adventure – this year’s Halloween Bash also promises to be the most exciting ever! Also, to broaden the appeal of Halloween Bash to guests who wish to immerse themselves in the Park’s frightful ambience without entering the haunted houses, Ocean Park has for the first time introduced Halloween Bash Lite tickets, available at 35% off regular night tickets.
