Nature’s Interactive Classroom

Aimed at stimulating students’ interest and capturing their curiosity, this series of courses allows them to learn all about plants and animals. These unique learning experiences will motivate students to show concern for the environment and encourage them to make wise use of natural resources.

    Deep Inside the Ocean

    (This programme does not include classroom activities.)

    • Visit the Grand Aquarium and its back-of-house to discover the mystery and uniqueness of marine animals
    • Learn more about marine animals through exploration and cultivate a connection with the nature

    Ocean Delights

    • Observe sea shore animals up close and be amazed by their extraordinary body structures
    • Participate in the mega jenga game and discover the interrelationships between marine animals

    Panda’s Steps to Growth (NEW)

    • Visit the animal exhibit and investigate the basic needs of different animals
    • Participate in a group activity to find out the changes and challenges a giant panda faces in growing up

    Sea Lion's Got Talent

    • Get close to sea lions and seals with the trainer and learn about their swimming talents
    • Create a miniature of sea lion and explore daily products or designs that are inspired by nature through an interactive matching game

    Dolphin Tracking Trilogy

    • Get into groups to investigate the similarities and differences between ocean animals and learn to identify mammals
    • Observe animal demonstrations up close to further understand the five characteristics of mammals

    South Pole Summit

    • Visit the South Pole Spectacular and learn about how penguins adapt to the extreme environment
    • Find out how birds are affected by climate change and learn how to use electricity wisely

    #One-way travelling time between the Ocean Park Main Entrance and The Summit is about 45 minutes. Please allow sufficient time to reach the programme location and return from Ocean Park.

    ˇIncludes educational programme and 1-hour self-visit at the Park

    Ocean Park issues 1 teacher complimentary ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased per group, so they can accompany students to the classroom session. An extra programme fee applies for any additional teacher to enter the Park. Students cannot use the teacher complimentary tickets, and vice versa. All participants are expected to leave Ocean Park after the education programme. Participants who would like to remain at the Park and enjoy its facilities after the programme must apply in advance and pay a stay-behind surcharge.

    The programme fees are valid until 31 August 2019.
