Nature’s Interactive Classroom

Aimed at stimulating students’ interest and capturing their curiosity, this series of courses allows them to learn all about plants and animals. These unique learning experiences will motivate students to show concern for the environment and encourage them to make wise use of natural resources.

    Panda Ranger's Discovery

    • Learn about the wild animals found in Sichuan — giant pandas, red pandas and golden monkeys
    • Trace the tracks and learn about animals living in the bamboo forest through the interactive computer programme
    • Visit the animal exhibit and meet our national treasures

    Ocean Ambassador

    • Get in touch with the seashore animals and explore their distinctive characteristics
    • Visit the Grand Aquarium and discover the interconnected relationships between marine organisms
    • Get involved in role playing to bring up ideas in protecting the marine environment

    Dolphin Splash

    • Get close up with the dolphins during the animal demo and learn how they are adapted to live in the oceans
    • Discover the differences between toothed whales and baleen whales through interactive games
    • Learn ways to be a responsible citizen and protect our environment via the interactive computer programme

    South Pole Summit

    • Visit the South Pole Spectacular and meet with the penguins
    • Find out how birds are influenced by climate change via the interactive computer programme
    • Play a game and learn how to use electricity wisely and live a low-carbon life

    Baby Seal Diary

    • Join the baby seal’s journey via the interactive computer programme
    • Experience how seals communicate with each other through an interactive group game
    • Get close to sea lions and seals with the trainer, and learn how to identify their differences

    #One-way travelling time between the Ocean Park Main Entrance and The Summit is about 45 minutes. Please allow sufficient time to reach the programme location and return from Ocean Park.

    ˇIncludes 1-hour educational programme and 1-hour self-visit at the Park

    Ocean Park issues one complimentary teacher’s ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased per group, so they can accompany students to the classroom session. An extra programme fee applies for any additional teacher to enter the Park. Students cannot use the complimentary teacher tickets, and vice versa. All participants are expected to leave Ocean Park after the education programme. Participants who would like to remain at the Park and enjoy its facilities after the programme must apply in advance and pay a stay-behind surcharge.

    The programme fees are valid until 31 August 2017.
