Come meet our lovely Little Meerkat Family!

Let us embark on a journey to Africa, where you can meet the adorable and energetic meerkat family and observe their wisdoms of life. You’ll be able to try your hand as an animal caretaker, feed them a delicious meal, and surround yourself with an abundance of cuteness!

Special arrangements of “Get Closer to the Animals” programmes under the COVID-19 Epidemic Situation
  • If you have any of the COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days prior to or on the programme date; have been in close contact with any person who is a confirmed or preliminary positive case of COVID-19 infection in Hong Kong or overseas within 14 days prior to or on the programme date; have any Compulsory Quarantine Order or Compulsory Testing Notice on the programme date, the Park reserves the right to reject your participation in this programme. If you have already applied for this programme and encountered the above situation, please contact us as soon as possible to make appropriate arrangements. 
  • Participants are required to thoroughly wash their hands before the start of the programme.
  • Participants are required to wear surgical masks throughout the programme. 
  • All apparatuses and equipment will also be thoroughly disinfected after every use. 
  • ​As all programme participants are required to comply with the latest Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance and Guidelines of the HKSAR Government, programme participants are required to present the Vaccine Pass relevant record/ COVID-19 Vaccination Medical Exemption Certificate and LeaveHomeSafe record (except persons exempted from the Government's law) to enter the Park.     * The programme fee does not include Park’s admission, all participants must enter the Park on the programme date with a valid admission ticket.
    # A maximum of 3 tickets of this programme can be purchased per session per SmartFun Annual Pass or InFUNity Pass.

    Smart Tips:

    • Participants are required to wear sports shoes to participate this programme.
    • Participants are required to wear aprons provided by the Park to participate this programme.
    • Participants will not have physical contact with our animal during the programme.
    • All forms of photography or videography and the use of mobile devices are not permitted during the programme. Participants are required to contact Ocean Park at least TWO days in advance in order to ensure photo-taking service provided by Park photographer. All photos taken can be purchased for a fee.
    • Please arrive at the gathering location on time. Latecomers will be regarded as absentees and might not be admitted to the programme.


    • Participants must be aged 3 or above.
    • All participants must be paid. Same price for both adult and child. No accompanying guest is allowed (include children who are under age of 3).
    • Eligible participants aged 3-11 must be accompanied by a paying parent/ guardian who satisfies all programme requirements. An eligible paying parent/ guardian can accompany a maximum of TWO eligible paying participants aged 3-11.
    • Eligible participants aged under 18 must have their parent/guardian’s signature on the Health Declaration form & liability release to confirm the detail before the programme starts.
    • This programme is not recommended for any pregnant women.
    • All applications will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • A valid admission ticket to the Park is required to join the programme. The price of the admission ticket is not included in the programme fee. 
    • Reservation will be automatically made for every successful enrolment of this programme, participants are not required to make an online reservation.
    • The content, itinerary, dates and application methods of the programmes may subject to change or cancellation due to occasional animal needs or any other particular circumstances without prior notice.

    Same Day Application

    Subject to availability at the time of application, you can apply in person at “Waterfront Gifts” or “The Lodge” on the programme day before 12:45pm (1st session) and 2:45pm (2nd session). All applications will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Part of the programme proceeds will go to the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong to support its research projects and public awareness programmes for wildlife conservation in Asia.
