All you need for a pleasurable trip to Ocean Park.

Weather Arrangements

In general, Ocean Park remains open in inclement weather, as we have many sheltered areas to protect visitors. However, in extremely adverse conditions such as when the Hong Kong Observatory issues a rainstorm warning or tropical cyclone signal, special Park arrangements will go into effect. Please refer to the list below to see the arrangements that correspond to each such condition.

For safety reasons, Ocean Park may suspend certain rides and shows during inclement weather. Visitors should call our enquiry hotline at (852) 3923 2323 for information about our current weather arrangements.

The Park may remain closed for an extended period and the re-opening is subject to the Park's condition affected by the rainstorm. If the Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above is in effect prior to the opening of the Park, the Park will delay opening for a minimum of two hours after the signal No.8 is lowered with the possibility of limited operations. The Park may remain closed for an extended period and the re-opening is subject to the impacts brought about by the typhoon. Regular dated admission tickets of the day can be exchanged for a new ticket of the same type within 3 months from the date of the tickets.  To exchange your ticket, please bring along your original ticket and approach the Ticketing Office at the Park’s Main Entrance. If your dated tickets were purchased from travel agents, please contact individual agents directly for details.

If the No.8 signal or above remains hoisted about six hours before the Park closing time on that day, Ocean Park will remain closed for the day. (e.g. The Park closing time is at 8:00pm, and the Signal No.8 is lowered at 2:00pm, the Park will remain closed the whole day.)
