Tom Mehrmann, Chief Executive of Ocean Park Hong Kong, said, “ We sought out theme parks in the region with close affinity to Ocean Park to join this strategic partnership.  “Ocean Park’s World Attractions Fun Deals” is our way to thank our tens of millions of guests for their loyalty and to accentuate their theme park experiences and choices, as well as offering greater value for the price of an admission ticket, or an annual pass.”

Mr. Mehrmann continued, “On top of adding value for our guests, we’re hoping to strengthen the Ocean Park brand in overseas markets, and attract destination tourists from the region, and beyond, to make a trip to Hong Kong to visit Ocean Park, and to see all that Hong Kong has to offer. We hope this will ultimately be a win-win-win situation for Hong Kong’s tourism industry, Ocean Park, and our theme park partners.”

Mr Mehrmann said that all the regional partners are renowned attractions in their home bases. “Ocean Park will continue to add value for our guests, and one of the ways will be to grow these reciprocal “fun deals”. We are now talking to attractions in Taiwan, Korea, and even Canada.  So, watch this space,” he said.

He also added, “This is one of the best times to visit Hong Kong with the pleasant weather we have this time of the year, and as Ocean Park presents world-class entertainment for the Christmas Sensation 2009, which will start on 12 December 2009.  So, we call on all our local and overseas guests to take advantage of this offer and have a great and unique Christmas holiday in Hong Kong and at Ocean Park.”
