Valentine’s Day Set Dinner Menu*
Every couple has a unique romantic story to tell. To profess your love, Ocean Park has put together a day full of romantic experiences, ending with an intimate dinner for couples. Offered exclusively at Neptune’s Restaurant, the 8-course “Concerto of Love” set dinner menu (HK$1,688 for two, with exclusive priority access to 8 of the Park’s popular attractions) starts off with “Tonight I Celebrate My Love”, orchestrating a perfect harmony of smoked salmon with homemade creamy garlic & herb butter, garnished with a Cupid’s Bow and Arrow, followed by “My Heart Will Go On”, an impeccably made 62.5° poached egg in Meurette style, with baked French escargots in herbs putter puff pastry, beet jam and parsley butter sauce. The next masterpiece, “Two Kinds of Love”, is a soup duo comprised of cognac lobster bisque topped with poached lobster, divinely matching in heaven with the fresh crab claw simmered on Japanese cress and spinach broth with crushed beetroot. Diners then prepare for the main course by refreshing their taste buds with “I Melt with You” and make both hearts melt as the raspberry Sherbet with fresh berries floats out on a puff of smoke.

For the main course, lovebirds can be prepared to be swept off their feet with the “Symphony of Yellow River”, an Australian barramundi with saffron, , mussels with pesto, paired with healthy organic rainbow quinoa, Thai eggplant and Cupid’s very own beetroot arrows. For the grand finale of the savoury dishes, “The East is Red” is served, with broiled US grain fed Angus beef tenderloin, indulgent pan-seared foie gras, drizzled with confit of red wine shallot on a bed of root vegetables in aged balsamic and port wine sauce.

As the sweetest dish of them all, the rich “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You” dessert, featuring our house favourite brownie with fresh fruits and Ice cream, is sure to bring romance to the table. To complete this magical evening, “Sweet Endings” arrives right in time with a beautiful berry macaroon and luscious dark and white chocolate trifle. Last but not least, 2 glasses of champagne will be served to further light up the romantic ambience of the night.

The refreshing combination of the Inaniwa Udon with Western Australia Blue Swimmer Crabmeat and Crab Roe in Soup brings the taste buds to new heights. Delicately made dessert, House of Wealth and Fortune, is served to mark the ending to this exquisite meal. A baked sago & mango pudding, served and baked in a baby pumpkin, decorated with sheep made from marshmallows and sponge cake will sweeten the evening.
