2020-09-10

A Brand New Unlimited Entry Pass and Amazing Green Staycation Experiences Await Visitors

After a two-month temporary closure, Ocean Park’s staff and animal ambassadors are eager to welcome visitors to the Park again soon! To celebrate the reopening, Ocean Park is launching a series of offers exclusive for Hong Kong residents including a new Unlimited Entry Pass offer at HK$498 and a 35% off discount on admission tickets at just HK$320. Excited visitors can get ready to indulge themselves in Ocean Park’s relaxing environment where they can chill out and get closer to nature, while being assured that strict anti-pandemic measures are in place to protect their health.

Extraordinary Experiences to Debut
Continuing as an eco-conservation advocate, the Park is also introducing a series of immersive outdoor leisure activities to encourage visitors to interact with nature. The experiences are specially curated while tapping into the Park’s natural setting on the southern coastline of Hong Kong Island and its surrounding hillside topography.

“Our team did not slow down in the rethink of the Park’s future and direction despite its temporary closure over the past two months. We have taken the chance to conduct a broad-based engagement programme and to curate new experiences for our visitors,” said Lau Ming-wai, Chairman of Ocean Park. “Apart from new edutainment, we also aim to launch an array of activities that promote well-being while strengthening our connection with the Southern District’s communities. We are ready to surprise visitors with a series of all-new extraordinary experiences. With Green Staycation set to be launched this October, we are inviting visitors to re-discover Ocean Park’s uniqueness through a series of activities ranging from yoga to hiking, at or even outside of the Park, which will advocate eco-conservation and well-being.”

With staycations as a new trend for 2020, Ocean Park is going to satisfy visitors’ wanderlust in unexpected ways right in the heart of Hong Kong. Visitors will find themselves immersed in the hidden gems of Ocean Park during this time-limited Green Staycation and its associated activities. They will get to chill and experience the Park like never before, whether by practising yoga or meditation under a vivid blue sky or under the sea; or by conquering the trail route under the cable cars – open to the public for the first time ever – as they feast their eyes on stunning views of the south of Hong Kong, and enjoy plenty of Instagrammable moments while learning about the local ecosystem.

Alternatively, visitors can content themselves under the starry night sky by staying in the Park’s exclusive new campsite at the Summit. Proceeds from these activities will be donated to the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong. So be on the lookout, details of Green Staycation will be announced soon!
