OCEAN PARK - NGONG PING 360 – HONG KONG WETLAND PARK SALUTE NATURE WITH JOINT PROMOTIONSALUTE NATURE WITH JOINT PROMOTION

(Hong Kong – 28 September, 2008) Hong Kong’s three key nature eco-attractions have teamed up to launch a joint promotion offering guests a 10% discount on admission between 1 October 2008 and 28 February 2009. Within this period, guests having visited any one of the three eco-attractions can retain and present the admission ticket to enjoy a 10% discount on admission when visiting the other two partner attractions. Tickets purchased during the promotion period ending on 28 February 2009 may be used for redemption until 31 March 2009 at all partner attractions, which gives guests 30 extra days to enjoy the 10 percent discount.

Paul Pei, Executive Director of Ocean Park, Wilson Shao, Head of Commercial & Business Development of Ngong Ping 360, and Edmond Lam, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Wetland Park, all shared the vision of this unique partnership to enable local and overseas guests to fully enjoy and take in more of the natural eco-attractions that Hong Kong has to offer. Each destination has distinctive icons and ambassadors of nature to offer, but all are committed to using their natural resources as presented to tell the valuable story of preservation and conservation for future generations.

Terms and Conditions

  • This offer is available to holders of Ocean Park daytime admission tickets, SmartFun Annual Passes, Ngong Ping 360 admission or attraction packages tickets and the Hong Kong Wetland Park tickets, annual/semi-annual Passes/Family Passes purchased between 1 October 2008 and 28 February 2009
  • This offer is only valid at the Ticketing Offices at Ocean Park’s Main Entrance and Tai Shue Wan Entrance, Ngong Ping’s Tung Chung and Ngong Ping Terminals, and the Ticket Office at the Hong Kong Wetland Park
  • Photocopies of the tickets will not be accepted
  • This offer cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other admission ticket promotional offers
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of Ocean Park, Ngong Ping 360 and the Hong Kong Wetland Park, respectively, will be final
  • Ocean Park, Ngong Ping 360 and the Hong Kong Wetland Park reserve the right to terminate this promotion without any prior notice

About Ngong Ping 360

Ngong Ping 360 is a dynamic new tourism experience, which combines a stunning 5.7km cable car journey with an impressive cultural themed village and easy access to the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, the world’s largest, seated, outdoor, bronze Buddha statue.

The Ngong Ping Cable Car travels between its Tung Chung and Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminals. About the Hong Kong Wetland Park

The Hong Kong Wetland Park is a world-class eco-tourism facility that provides local visitors and tourists with an extraordinary experience on the nature of Hong Kong wetlands. The Park demonstrates the diversity of the Hong Kong's wetland ecosystem and highlights the need to conserve them.

It incorporates mainly educational and recreational elements, for example, the indoor exhibition galleries of Wetland Interactive World featuring the importance of wetland on biodiversity and conservation; and a 60-hectare wetland reserve where visitors can appreciate the beauty of nature and explore the amazing wildlife.

Other facilities include Stream Walk, Succession Walk, Mangrove Boardwalk and three Bird Hides situated next to the fish pond, mudflat and riverside where visitors may explore different habitats of wildlife such as egrets, herons, ducks and globally endangered black-faced spoonbill.
