(Hong Kong – 2 April 2009) Ocean Park will feature the Ocean Park Easter Egg Carnival from 4 April to 3 May. During this period, guests will enjoy a myriad of “Get an Extra for $1” offers, from food, drinks, skill games, to the incredible “Get an Extra Ticket for $1.” Easter at Ocean Park will also have guests and all-in-the-family rolling in thrills and spills as the Park presents GoGreen Fun Ride*circuit at Tai Shue Wan, with 10 Segway personal transporters for the bigger ones to partake. There are also tens of thousands of Kinder chocolate eggs as prizes for the little ones completing the Easter Bunny Challenge (Please see factsheet for details. * GoGreen Fun Ride starts on 8 April)
For the “Get an Extra Ticket for $1” offer, guests who spend HK$400 or more on admission tickets or the SmartFun annual pass can redeem a free day admission ticket for HK$1. The ticket will be valid for use between 1 June to 30 June. (Conditions apply. Please see fact sheet.)

Meanwhile, the first major attraction area under the HK$5.55 billion Master Redevelopment Project to be completed, Amazing Asian Animals, will be slated for a 30 April opening. Amazing Asian Animals is eight-attractions-in-one-themed-area, with Giant Panda Adventure, where rare species such as the giant panda, red panda, Chinese giant salamander, Asian small-clawed otter and Chinese alligator reside. Closely following is the world’s first and only stand-alone goldfish exhibit in a theme park, Goldfish Treasures. It features the world’s largest collection of over 300 goldfish of all shapes, sizes and colours, including the largest goldfish variety in the world. The Amazing Bird Show will also return with a new facade.
To give guests a totally immersive experience in this area, Amazing Asian Animals will also present the future Waterfront area’s first dining and banquet facility – Panda Cafe – which features a host of popular Southeast Asian dishes, including signature Sichuan cuisines, and the Park’s first themed and largest signature souvenir shop, Panda Kingdom Shop, which is brimming with over 5,000 animal-themed items in over 350 styles.
