2023-01-10

The energetic rabbits are about to gather at Ocean Park to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with all visitors! From 19 January to 5 February, Ocean Park Lunar Fiesta 2023 will offer a perfect way to hop in a year of good luck and joy with your friends and family, with blessings coming from bunnies at every corner in the Park. Baby Shark is also making its way to Ocean Park for a joyous eco-party with children during this festive season!

Festive bazaar and cheerful attractions filled with bountiful blessings
Visit the Lucky Rabbit Village presented by HSBC Credit Card to find the hero of this new year! The village’s chief rabbit, dressed as a Daruma doll, will look to make every visitor’s dreams come true. The celebrations continue at Blissful Rabbit Square, where visitors can explore more photo-friendly moments with festively-dressed giant rabbits surrounded by massive mahjong tiles that symbolise fortune and prosperity. On top of these festive photo moments, children may unleash their energy at some fun-filled attractions, such as playing with snow at the Snowfield of Prosperity presented by HSBC Credit Card. They can also lollop and bounce with loads of laughter at the Little Bouncy House, to aim high for the new year!

Eco-party with Baby Shark
Joining Ocean Park on the mission to conserve nature in 2023 is a special guest from the ocean, Baby Shark! During the Lunar New Year period, Baby Shark will bring creative and fun messages about conservation through interactive experiences, so little visitors can keep the learning momentum strong during this holiday season!

Pinkfong and Baby Shark will join Whiskers Villagers for a fun-filled Baby Shark Party at the Whiskers Theatre from 19 January to 5 February. Presented by The Pinkfong Company, the global entertainment company of Baby Shark, these onstage performances will highlight recycling practices and call attention to Leave No Trace when we explore the city’s gorgeous outdoors. Traipsing outside the Whiskers Theatre, visitors can learn about the habitats and characteristics of ocean creatures along with Baby Shark at Baby Shark X The Grand Aquarium, and make Baby Shark Moves while taking snapshots with Baby Shark and his friends to herald in an extraordinary new year.

The party will also go beyond Ocean Park’s boundaries, with Baby Shark inviting all mini sailors to join a sea life sketching journey between 19 January and 5 February. Titled Little Explorer – Ocean Ride with Baby Shark, the brand-new time-limited boat trip under Ocean Park’s marine tourism series, Island South Discovery, invites little explorers to sketch the coastline of Hong Kong’s south side and "swim” with Baby Shark in the picture frame. In addition, little explorers can prepare their sailor costumes, learn how to cherish marine resources and pledge to help protect Baby Shark’s home under “Leave No Waste Boo-loo Boo-loo Boo-loo”!
