“Invigorating Island South” aims to re-energise the Southern District into a vibrant community for Hong Kong. With Ocean Park as the key landmark, and leveraging the unique natural landscape, eco-tourism, historical and cultural resources as our backdrop, we believe the initiative will amplify the Park’s potential along with other attractions and facilities in the area and soon-to-be-launched Water World to offer a wide range of entertainment, leisure and travel experience.
Jumbo Floating Restaurant, located in Sham Wan, Wong Chuk Hang, was first opened in 1976, and has received hundreds of thousands of local and overseas guests, numerous politicians and business leaders who made it a point to visit.
Now, the owner of Jumbo Floating Restaurant has agreed to donate it to Ocean Parkat no cost. Ocean Park will play the role as a bridge, and collaborate with other non-governmental organisations to preserve our unique, historical, cultural and tourist landmark. We will seek the public’s and stakeholders’ opinions on the new path and vision for Jumbo Floating Restaurant.
Please stay tuned for updates on our Ocean Park website.
