[Ended] "Sharing Session by Young Conservationist"
Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong launched the University Student Sponsorship Programme in 2005. So far, 471 local university students have been sponsored, participating in 189 field research projects in more than 15 Asian countries and regions. Each year, the Foundation collaborates with the Sichuan Giant Panda Research Team, providing university students with the opportunity to form teams and participate in conservation and research efforts for wild giant pandas. This includes tasks related to giant panda reintroduction, including health checks and monitoring after their release. This time, Fan Club has invited two youth conservationists, Shirley (Year 2019-20) and Lucinda (Year 2024-25), to share their valuable experiences and insights on how they transitioned into the field of conservation. They will also visit the giant panda twins together!
The new event will be held through online enrollment starting on 3 November 2025 at 11:00 am. Quotas are limited to 120, on a first-come, first-served basis. Members who successfully enroll will receive a confirmation email by 7 November 2025.
