Rain Can't Stop the Splash! Water World Ocean Park Reopens with Crowds of Eager Adventurers

Water World Ocean Park today officially reopened its doors for the summer season. Despite the unpredictable weather, over 2,000 adventurers were eager to dive into an exhilarating splash-filled experience. Setting a joyful tone for the day, the first 100 visitors were greeted with surprise gifts.

This summer, Water World is set to launch a series of special experiences, commencing with the First Hon Summer event running from 16 May to 30 June 2026. Adventurers are invited to capture unique graduation photos across the water park – from the scenic Reef Lobby to the iconic Rainbow Rush – by dressing in graduation gowns for memorable swimsuit and cap-and-gown shots.

Thrilling surf experience
On the reopening day, Water World’s professional instructors staged an elite surfing demonstration at Surf Striker. Their flawless execution of high-difficulty tricks drew cheers from the crowd, with visitors eagerly capturing the action on camera! This spectacular showcase will return every Saturday and Sunday throughout May and June at designated timeslots.
 
For those eager to try, Resurf Your Slot at Surf Striker for an extra adrenaline-packed 20-minute session, all for just HK$98 per surfer (for up to four surfers per session)! Still craving more? Gather your friends and explore the new Private Surf Session, offering exclusive surf coaching for either two or three hours at designated timeslots, priced at HK$4,000 (for up to 10 surfers) or HK$6,200 (for up to 16 surfers) respectively.
