Offering different seafood selections across all Ocean Park outlets, the new Summer Promotion menu aims to encourage guests to avoid consuming shark fins in order to conserve these majestic marine creatures. Guests will be able to expand their culinary experiences by indulging in and enjoying seafood items selected from sustainable sources while showing their own personal commitment to marine conservation at the Park.

The refreshing summer menu includes Sustainable Pan-seared Australian Scallops in Sage Brown Butter with Fresh Figs, followed by summer favourite, Gazpacho with Mint, Confit of Cherry Tomato, Granny Smith Apples Summer Fruit Salsa.

A choice between Sesame Dumpling Sabayon Tartlet, Mint and Chocolate Ice Cream, Steamed Egg White Custard with Hokkaido 3.6 Fresh Milk and Bird’s Nest or Seasonal Berry Jelly with Rose Croquant and Salted Caramel Ice Cream would bring this exceptional dining experience to a perfect conclusion.

Mr Nick Lee, Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager said, “As marine conservation is increasingly acknowledged as a global imperative, we not only paid attention to the visual presentation when designing the dishes for our summer promotion menu, but also ensured that only seafood from sustainable sources is used in each of these appetising dishes.”

“The seafood dishes featured on our summer promotion menu, including lobster, sea cucumbers and scallops, are sourced from the most pristine locations around the world in line with the Park’s ongoing commitment to marine conservation. Always health-conscious, Chinese consumers also appreciate the health benefits of the high levels of collagen contained in sea cucumbers and bird’s nest, which have maintained their popularity for centuries”,  added Chef Lewis Lau, Executive Chef of Ocean Park.

To celebrate the opening of Shark Mystique, Ocean Park is also collaborating with Crocs™, footwear sponsor of Summer Shark Fever, to launch the limited edition Jibbitz sets from mid-July onwards, with each set featuring 3 Ocean Park mascot-themed shoe charms (HK$65 per set).

For each purchase of the Ocean Park Jibbitz set limited edition, Crocs™ will donate HK$5 to the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation in support of marine conservation.

Additionally, the Park will feature a range of Shark Mystique merchandise items, including tee shirts, tumblers, water-spray fans and water bottles, shark-shaped sunglasses, umbrellas and many more that also carry the Park’s marine conservation messages.
