 Fitness, skills and mindset
The 400-plus job openings at Water World Ocean Park include more than 100 full-time aquatic operator vacancies. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to undergo physical evaluation, and be assessed in the areas of corrected eyesight, cardiovascular fitness, strength, basic swimming competency, etc.

“These job openings are not just for avid swimmers to apply. Those who consider themselves physically fit but are not necessarily strong swimmers are also recommended to give it a try. The aquatic training programme at Water World will equip suitable candidates with all the necessary knowledge and skills to become qualified Aquatic Crew at Water World,”said Bryan Fish, Executive Director of Water World Ocean Park.

“The aquatic operators at Water World are much more than lifeguards. They will guide and help our visitors navigate the water park for maximum fun and thrills. They will be instrumental in safeguarding the well-being of our visitors,” explained Fish. “We would like to bring on board team members who enjoy action-packed workdays, who love to interact with people, and who are keen to promote the wonders of water and nature. While soft skills such as good people skills and language proficiency would definitely help, a spirit for adventure, fun and thrills will surely make you stand out from the crowd. And as long as you are not afraid of water, you have a chance!” said Fish.

Other than aquatic operators, the vacancies include first aid, security, guest relations and general services positions from entry to supervisory and manager levels.
