Ocean Park celebrates 2017 Green Carnival

Ocean Park has always been a keen supporter in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. We have been actively reaching out to the community to raise the public's awareness through a variety of green events.

On 8th January 2017, Ocean Park participated in the Green Carnival, hosted by Green Council at Kowloon Park, for the ninth consecutive year. The theme of this year was "Go Green, Recycle Clean ". Being one of the sponsors, Ocean Park hosted an educational game booth, titled "Whiskers' Green Station". Through the fun filled game, participants learned to identify recyclable and non-recyclable items and clean recycling. We aim to raise awareness about caring for the nature and adopting a sustainable green lifestyle. By the end of the event, a whopping record of 4,000 visitors was attracted!

    Ocean Park has always been a keen supporter in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. We have been actively reaching out to the community to raise the public's awareness through a variety of green events.

    On 1st February 2015, Ocean Park participated in the Green Carnival, hosted by Green Council at Kowloon Park, for the seventh consecutive year. The theme of this year was "Waste Less, Recycle More". Being one of the sponsors, Ocean Park hosted an educational game booth, titled "Whiskers' Green Station". Through the fun filled game, participants learned to identify recyclable and non-recyclable items. We aim to raise awareness about caring for the nature and adopting a sustainable green lifestyle.     Ocean Park celebrates 2014 Green Carnival

    Ocean Park has always been a keen supporter in promoting environmental awareness and wildlife conservation in the community. As such, the park has been actively reaching out to other like-minded organizations to form partnerships and heighten the public's environmental awareness.

    On 12th January 2014, Ocean Park continues to participate in the Green Carnival hosted by Green Council at Kowloon Park, and it is also the sixth consecutive year of the park joining this event. The theme for this year was "Think Green, Be Green, Live Green & Sustainable, and Love Green". Being one of the sponsors, Ocean Park hosted an educational game booth, titled “Let’s save our Ocean!”, conveying ocean protection and marine debris reduction messages to participants via fun-filled games. By the end of the event, a whopping record of 8,700 visitors was attracted!

    Ocean Park has always been a key supporter in promoting environmental awareness and wildlife conservation to our community. Consequently, the Park actively reaches out to other like-minded organizations and forms partnerships to heighten the public's environmental awareness.

    On February 3th, 2013, Ocean Park took part in the 10th Green Carnival hosted by Green Council at Kowloon Park, The theme in this year was "Going Green – How to reduce your carbon and water footprint" in order to spread the message of green and reduce carbon emission and water consumption in daily life to combat global climate change.

    Green Council is a charity organization which aims to encourage businesses to carry out green purchasing, as well as to promote community environmental awareness through public educational campaign.

    Ocean Park participated in the Carnival as one of the sponsors, and hosted a carnival booth "Low Carbon Tic-Tac-Toe ", which conveyed important low carbon messages to visitors via fun-filled games! This year, the Green Carnival attracted around 10,000 participants. Our Park was selected by the participants and won the Champion in the "The Best Booth Design Competition" within the 23 collaborating organizations.

    Ocean Park has always been a key supporter in promoting environmental awareness and wildlife conservation to our community. Consequently, the Park actively reaches out to other similar minded organizations and forms partnerships to heighten the public's environmental awareness.

    On January 8th, 2012, Ocean Park took part in the 9th Green Carnival hosted by Green Council at Kowloon Park, This year theme was “New Lifestyle starts with Low Carbon Living”. Green Council is a charity organization which aims to encourage businesses to carry out green purchasing and public education. This year, the Green Carnival attracted nearly 8,000 participants.

    Ocean Park participated in the Carnival as one of the sponsors, and hosted a carnival booth "Let’s be Green in Daily Life ", which conveyed low carbon living messages to visitors via fun-filled games!

    Ocean Park has always been a key supporter in promoting environmental awareness and wildlife conservation to our community. Consequently, the Park actively reaches out to other similar minded organizations and forms partnerships to heighten the public's environmental awareness.

    On January 16th, 2011, Ocean Park took part in the 8th Green Carnival at Kowloon Park, hosted by the Green Council of Hong Kong, with the theme “Global Warming and Its Impact on Our Future”. Green Council is a non-profit charity organization with an aim to encourage businesses to carry out green purchasing and public education. This year, the Green Carnival attracted nearly 10,000 participants.

    Ocean Park participated in the Carnival as one of the sponsors, and hosted a carnival booth, "Green Eating Habits", which conveyed important environmental conservation messages to visitors using fun-filled games!

    Ocean Park celebrates 2010 Green Carnival

    Ocean Park has always been a key supporter in promoting environmental and wildlife conservation awareness to our community. In addition, the Park actively reaches out to other similar minded organizations in partnerships to heighten the public's environmental awareness.

    In January 2010, Ocean Park took part in the 6th Epson Green Carnival, hosted by the Green Council of Hong Kong, with the theme of “Fight Global Warming”. Green Council is a non-profit organization with an aim to encourage businesses to carry out green purchasing and public education.

    The Green Carnival was held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and attracted more than ten thousand participants. Other participates of the event included Electrical & Mechanical Services Department, Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department, CLP Group, Ngong Ping 360, etc. Ocean Park's Carnival booth "Green Living is Do-able" helped convey environmental and nature conservation messages to visiting students and the community using fun-filled games!
